The Banking and Expansion team are responsible for improving our payment system connections across the world to help our customers move money instantly, transparently and conveniently at as low a cost as possible. This is first achieved through bank and payment service provider (PSP) partnerships, and then eventually through direct links with payment systems like UK Faster Payments (FPS) and central infrastructure like SWIFT.
Our payment connections with banks, payment systems and other providers determine the quality of our product and a large part of its economics. Wise became the first non-bank to become part directly connected to FPS and we want to replicate that all over the world. Combining this with our knowledge of regulation is crucial, allowing us to achieve our mission through new and innovative ways of moving money globally.
