And, we need a talented API Technical Support Lead to join our mission.
This position is available in Tallinn, Estonia. As API Technical Support Lead you’ll become part of a global API Technical Support team whose main focus is to support our partners (enterprise and financial institutions) during the pre-sales, integration and support phases of the implementation. Continuously analysing and improving processes and tooling to ensure efficient and scalable team performance.
What does it take?
- Get to know the Wise API and our platform capabilities to the finest details.
- Lead team for it to become focused, efficient and scalable.
- Define team ownership and success criteria, lead the team’s movement in alignment with those as well as Wise Platform goals.
- Provide technical support and guidance to external engineers during and after the integration with Wise’s Public API.
- Making sure our technical support is friendly and empathetic, providing solutions to problems accurately, timely and consistently.
- Maintain API documentation, examples and FAQs to minimise contact rates.
- Contribute to improving our APIs based on customer feedback.
- Support the sales team from a technical standpoint during calls with potential partners.
- Mediate during incidents involving the right teams and providing feedback to partners.
Is this you?
- You have experience leading technical support teams.
- You have strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex and technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- You’re able to ensure delivery and work with the teams responsible for it while keeping the team accountable for the decisions they make.
- You are passionate about technology and its relationship with business and customer experience.
- You have basic technical notions such as SQL databases, testing and debugging REST APIs and reading logs. Postman and curl are a part of your toolbox.
- You have empathy for users and are able to provide great support and onboarding experience.
- You are ok with occasional travelling, to work and learn with product engineering, customer support and operations teams across the world.
- You are humble and work well in a team with a diverse group of people from all over the globe and in different timezones.
