As we continue to grow and scale, we’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our fast growing Pricing team in London. This role will be the first hire within the team, reporting into the Business Pricing Lead, and will focus on building the data infrastructure and foundation for future pricing capabilities within Wise Platform.

Your mission: 

• Collaborate with analysts and engineering teams in Pricing on building and scaling new pricing capabilities with Wise Platform
• Supporting pricing discussions with commercial teams in Wise Platform
• Building and growing pricing controls, to help monitor performance and bottom line
• Supporting the design and improvement of new and existing pricing methodologies. 
• Investing into building raw and analytical data pipelines together with data engineers, other analysts in pricing, finance and treasury
• Directly supporting key stakeholders with data, information and insights across Wise Platform and Finance

A bit about you

• Experience as an analyst in business commercial teams or technical product building teams
• strong SQL skills, building experience in Python
• experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines
• You are flexible in the set of technologies you use now and like proactively learning some new stuff in both technical and business parts of your job
• You can develop data visualisations using typical BI tools (we use Looker and Superset)
• Instead of waiting for a task you can propose a problem statement, model, approach, solution
• You can work with minimal direction beforehand and are strong in structuring your approach towards problem resolution
• Technical and commercial savviness, understanding the mechanics of what makes a business grow

Some extra skills that would be awesome

• Worked in a startup environment previously.
• Building experience in Python
• Prior experience working in or with pricing teams
