And we need a front-end engineer to join our mission.
The team
In Business Send, our mission is to be the first choice for international businesses to do treasury and pay their vendors, staff, and contractors across the globe. We’re getting there by increasing convenience and building features around business use cases.
Our batch payments product is already moving hundreds of millions of pounds a month, and it’s growing fast, 75% year-on-year! We’re currently focused on improving it even further, to exceed our customers’ expectations and delight them.
What does it take?
- Solid understanding of JavaScript and browser technologies
- Experience with UI libraries, such as React
- Experience building delightful user experiences
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both engineers and non-engineers
- Ability to both collaborate effectively with your team and solve problems independently and proactively
It would be a bonus if you also:
Are knowledgeable about product engineering, or have the desire to learn it
- Possess an eagerness to learn and grow
- Developed a habit of writing clear and testable code
- Have experience with TypeScript. Node.js, and SSR frameworks (such as Next.js)
- Have a strong sense of good UX and design, and great attention to detail
- Share our passion for accessible web applications

- You have delivered and led multiple impactful customer-facing changes
- You have embedded well with the team, its goals, and your role in contributing towards them
- You understand our product and customers
- You ensure the reliability of our web solutions
- You grow continuously as a product engineer while contributing to the growth of others
