Job Description

Location: Tallinn

Flexible model with an expected average of around 12 days in the office per month.

 

Reporting to our EMEA Servicing Recruitment Lead, you will be responsible for all Servicing recruitment in Estonia. Leading a team of recruiters, you will act as a change agent, continuously improving the quality of our recruitment practices.

Some of your responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead the recruitment for all Servicing hires in Estonia, including Customer Support, KYC, FinCrime and Payment Ops.

  • Ensure that our hiring follows the company’s hiring location strategy.

  • Work with hiring managers to sequence their hiring needs to balance both demand and capacity.

  • Lead, develop and grow a team of recruiters as per our talent advisory model.

  • Develop and set clear goals, and ensure accountability and ownership.

  • Meet with department heads regularly to discuss their quarterly hiring plans, provide data and market insights that help guide their hiring decisions,

  • Work with your global peers to drive a high-performance hiring culture across Wise; incubate and scale new processes and tools accordingly.

  • Ensure that your team delivers the best possible candidate and stakeholder experience possible and that we are adhering to our values every step of the way. 

  • Role-model DEI best practices to ensure that we embed diversity into the dna of our recruiting philosophy.

  • Ensure that we’re building robust and scalable processes, prioritising automation where possible.

  • Lead regional recruitment projects and contribute to Wise’s global recruitment initiatives.

  • Act as a primary local point of contact for senior leaders; leading with data to provide actionable insights and unblock challenges along the way. 

  • Act as a lead in our Tallinn People team community, participate in local events and drive a collaborative culture in our Tallinn office. 

 


Qualifications

About you

  • You have extensive experience in building and developing recruitment teams, especially within the Volume space, recruitment functions, hiring for roles in KYC, FinCrime, Payment Operations, and ideally in Finance and CS 

  • You have strong leadership experience

  • You’re a subject matter expert in recruitment, able to transform ideas and best practices into embedded new ways of working

  • You are comfortable working in matrixed environments and able to engage and inspire multi-cultural teams

  • You’re a coach, a negotiator, and a servant leader all in one; you’re focused on solving for the business whilst nurturing your team to be the best version of themselves.

  • You enjoy rolling up your sleeves, and are able to take on a few requisitions, when the recruitment load exceeds your team’s bandwidth.
