We are looking for a proactive and motivated individual to join our newly formed Banking team within Treasury to help manage our growing number of counterparties across the markets team. 

You will be given ample opportunities to represent Wise to external counterparties and drive relationships in a strategic manner. You will also get opportunities to cross collaborate across teams within Wise and drive efficiencies in managing counterparty relationships for the entire organisation.

Key responsibilities: 

• Serve as a centralised point of contact and drive end to end partner management for Treasury.

• Help bring new partners to Treasury enabling us to achieve better efficiencies in terms of trade execution and pricing along with improving trading capabilities across products

• Responsibilities include onboarding/off-boarding of banks for investments, trading, and other such counterparties that Wise Treasury interacts with.

• Oversight and management of safeguarding counterparties, driving periodic audit/DD checks on existing relationships.

• Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders across functional areas in Wise to ensure proper collaboration on partner management related matters.

• Drive projects related to Wise’s internal relationship management system and improve processes where relevant.

• Work closely with Treasury Operations to ensure commercial agreements with the counterparties are implemented correctly.

• Act as Wise’s internal point of contact to drive resolutions on any operational issues encountered by internal teams.

• Able to get stuff done. Not afraid to get hands dirty to deliver what is needed - we’re a fast growing company and you will need an entrepreneurial mindset to thrive.

• Happy to work independently and flexibly within a fast-moving environment.

• Have prior experience working with and managing counterparty relationships and  be able to devise KPIs and develop a framework to manage counterparties effectively.

• Excellent at managing counterparty relationships, constantly identifying opportunities to improve them.
